What Is TheGhostBay API?
TheGhostBay API is a tool that gives web developers a resource for running a torrent website. By passing commands to http://api.theghostbay.org/ in the URL, the automated API system will return torrent search results, detailed torrent information, and even torrent files themselves. It is up to you to decide how to customize the results!
In order to take full advantage of this new service, you need to have knowledge of a dynamic web scripting language such as PHP, ASP or even Javascript/Ajax. We will provide some basic code samples to get you started. It is up to you to make something of it.
Do I Need An Account Or Anything?
As of right now, you do not need to register any kind of account to use this service...but in the future you probably will. When this change happens we will find a convienient way to notify you before turning the service off completly to un-registered users. We may simply put some sort of limit on non-registered users. We will only be requiring user registration if the servers can't keep up or something.
